We called in a dinner order before we were going to be passing through town on our way back to California. She said the burritos would be ready in 5 minutes, which was way faster than we expected, but we were 9 minutes away. It was a quick and easy pick up, as we walked in and the burritos were ready, so we paid and left pretty quickly.
The burritos were tasty! Even amounts of the goodies inside, and lots of good chicken pieces (my dog approved, too.) The salsa was JUST mild and flavorful enough not to ruin the burrito for me, but if it was any spicier my mouth would have been burninnnggg! They put a lime on each plate with the burritos, and it helped to balance the spice. I pretty much demolished the whole burrito, though. My favorite part was the end where all the cheese was -

The best tacos I've had in my life! I've had a lot of tacos but these are by far the best. I go here every Tuesday for dollar tacos and sometimes more on the weekends I crave their tacos. The staff is really nice and they are always fast at getting orders out even when they're packed.

Usually don't take the time to write reviews, but need to raise this place's overall rating! Super fast service, ultra friendly, and food was cheap and terrific. Don't let the exterior or location off the main drage scare you off. Lots of locals coming in so it has to be good.

O...M...Goodies! So, our first choice of a taco shop was apparently closed today. We've been craving street tacos for the last 450 miles. We backtrack through town twice just to find this little joint that was highly recommended by fellow yelpers. Not in the best place in town but it probably has the best food in town! Service was incredibly incredibly friendly super fast even though it was busy. Ordered a carne asada tostada and three carne asada street tacos. Unfortunately they did not have any shrimp today. I have to say this was a diamond in the rough. Whenever we come into a new town we always go straight to the hotel and then we decide to walk to find food I'm really glad we did not this time. I think it took us an extra 40 minutes just to get to the hotel LOL
Anyway, if this owner can put this restaurant in every city people would be extremely happy every single day :-) -

What a find! And talk about a hole in the wall. "Triple D" would love this place! I think it seats about 20, is not on the main drag and is mostly locals. Do NOT let appearances scare you away! They have a limited menu, done REALLY well. The people running it are super friendly and explained what came on what we were ordering. Everything is fresh, made-to-order and authentic Mexican. Nothing is spicy, unless you want it to be. Only 14 menu items, but you choose your meat - ground or shreddef beef, carnitas, fish, chicken, carne asada or puerco chili verde - so the variety of combinations is wide. I had 4 Carnitas Taquitos topped with sour cream, a mound of shredded lettuce & cojito cheese, with lime wedge, guac & warm enchilada dipping sauce. It filled the plate... for $7!! Hubby dad the daily special, a Burrito Supreme. He chose the Puerco Chili Verde & it came as a giant hand-held that was filled with meat, sauce, beans, cheese, lettuce & sour cream... for $8. We each got a soda (in the bottle) to wash it down and the total was $17.50. We both thoroughly enjoyed wolfing down our meals! If we lived in the area, we'd be regulars
